You Know You have a Hooligan Bike When ...

A Police car coming in the other direction does a u-turn so it can follow you

The Street Triple is a cop magnet. I've had them turn and follow me at least three times since buying the bike and they never fail to take a long hard look at it whenever I pull alongside a squad car. Funny thing is I'm never doing anything illegal when they flip around and follow. My wife explained it perfectly. She says the bike looks like it's going fast when it's standing still. Evidently the officers agree. The roulette green doesn't make it any less conspicuous as well. Good thing I'm a law abiding citizen.

Just think what would happen if they made it in bright red or yellow, instead of relatively sedate colors like black, white, and green!

It certainly is, I had a bike cop pull up alongside today to check me out. Like you, I haven't been doing anything wrong when these things happen. The Bonnie never gets this sort of attention !!

Whenever I pass a speed trap, the cop sits up all excited-like. It makes me smile every time.

I almost feel bad to let him down by not doing anything wrong .

I've gotten a few good stares from cops allready to. The other day I was at an intersection and there was a cop sitting on the side street to my right. I swear he never took his eyes off me the entire time I was waiting for the light to turn green.

It is a cop magnet. As are LOTS of bikes. Reason for such is too many public road "wheelying" dopes out there. They make an idiot of themselves and draw unneccessary attention to the rest of us due to their childish antics.

In London there are so many bikes that the police mostly ignore them and the traffic is too dense for anyone to try stunting around town.

I think its more of a speeding / illegal overtake / without due care and attention type pull that they'll be thinking of. Of course, it is different out of town.

I've had cops follow me. After awhile I just pull over and see what they want. Pull me over fine follow me for extended periods (as if we don't know they are there) give me an **** break.
