Not if your well into the triple digits. By the time they turn around you're history.

You seem to think that all people against public road "stunting" can't ride. Ignorance. Try MX for 20 yrs then come talk to me. I have nothing against "stunt" riding (and actually find "street bike ballet" fascinating), but NOT on public roads. Thanks to all the dopes who do, we (the responsible riders) will ALL suffer for those antics with more laws. An occasional power wheely...fine. But "stunts", extended wheelies, acrobatics? NOT cool on public roads.

erm ... haven't we been here before on other threads

Maybe we can all agree that stunts are a fine demonstration of skill and control, but not advisable on public roads - and leave it at that

From my experience, cops like it when bikes are on wheelies, it adds some excitment to their lives...
"You seem to think that all people against public road "stunting" can't ride."...cant ride wheelies(real ones)...yep...

I am just giving you a hard time, your right...but i do think that people should be allowed to ride wheelies as long as they stay below the speed limit...

Agreed. We're starting to wander a bit off the topic and maybe into a mine field, gents.

OK then, back on topic...

You know it when you've been riding at exactly the speed limit on the frontage road (because you spotted that cop), and he (the Sheriff's Deputy) pulls up to you at the next stop sign and nicely asks "excuse me, but was that you riding 100 MPH+ back there on the interstate?" When you say "no," he simply says "nice bike," and moves on.

So, since I don't feel like adding a head-high windshield, saddle bags, highway footboards and double CB antennae, I've decided to try something different. I bought an ICON mil spec high-vis flourescent green vest. I've been thinking that wearing that sends a message to the cops that so want to be seen that I just couldn't possibly be doing anything wrong!

It has to work, right? Can't you just hear the cop's thoughts? "Well, he sure looks like he's doing 140, but naw, not with that vest...he must be going about 55."

very true! I know alot of the cops around me are all riders too and they like to look at bad ass bikes just like the rest of us.

What you all need to do is get a fire fighter job or a cop job and then you don't have to worry about it as much except for the state guys and they don't like anybody.
