Where to find one???

This is the big question of our day. Well, OK, it's the big question for would-be Street Triple owners, anyway. Let's try to help them.

We know Triumph isn't planning to make nearly enough Striples to meet demand this year. If you didn't pre-order during the three months of the priority reservation program, you're probably going to be hard-pressed to get one delivered any time soon! However, sometimes one can get lucky with a bit of persistence. So, here's our topic: Where (city and dealer name) can you find one or more Street Triples that are actually in dealer stock, for sale, right now? How many and which color, too, if you would be so kind.

Please note the underlined words! "Right now" does NOT mean ones you heard about two or three weeks ago, or saw back in December, or ones that a dealer is halfway hoping to receive but does not yet have the VIN. The purpose of this thread is to help new potential owners actually FIND an '08 Street, so let's please stick to current information only. (And to be even more helpful, I'd ask that you also let us know if you discover a bike that you posted about previously has been sold.)

Cape Fear BMW (Wilmington, NC) has a white one in stock. I just called them to make sure.

If you want it, talk to Eddie at 910.202.0269. He said he might be moving it to his store in Jacksonville, NC (for an open house), but he can get it for you if you call him.

Edit: Eddie said that guy who ordered (and then couldn't get financing) lost his deposit, which covered the doc fees and dealer prep stuff. In other words, you should be able to get it for a good price.

North County Motorsports in Escondido, CA has a green one and a white one in stock as of yesterday around noon. I saw both of them and I was actually going to buy the white one but after talking with the sales guy today I changed my mind. He's trying to tack on $1100 in dealer prep fees and delivery charges plus tax, title and license.

Screw him.

A reminder, though: This thread must adhere to topic. Posts without such info will not remain! Sometimes it's OK for threads to veer somewhat afield, but not a sticky with a definite purpose like this one.

I picked up the Street Triple yesterday in black. I love it so far but only got to put on 20 miles.

I've read on the forums that these are hard to get, PJ's in Albuquerque, NM (US) has a white one left if anyone is looking for one.

Florida Motorsports of Thalahasee had a black one listed in cycletrader so after playing phone tag with one of the salesmen there (first he was out, then he left early, then he was for lunch) I finally got a quote -about 7 hours after he told me it would take 10 minutes.

$11999 out the door and BTW the black one sold this morning (for $11999) but we have a green one available.
I told him I wanted the black one -but I am glad I called since I would not have paid $11999 anyways, like that I have no regrets.

So if anyone is interested, green one in Thalahasee $11999 OTD

hi , i live here in CHRISTCHURCH,NEW ZEALAND. at my local dealer there is a white street triple on the shop floor just waiting to be owned NZ$14990 . It is not unreasonable to buy this from overseas and have it shipped across the world as shipping times can be as short as 6 weeks. i also have unconfirmed reports that there are more available on the north island (of NZ).the dealers name is STREET AND SPORT MOTORCYCLES .PHIL GARRET.
