From the short teaser vid it looks like it will have all the electronic goodies, looking forward to find out more about engine: capacity, output etc, given the Euro 4 compliance.

I have to say though, I find it a little odd they are launching the 2018 model in Jan 2017' the 2017 Street Triple is the old bike; maybe the renamed it and they will have both bikes on the floor for at least the 2017?

Thanks for the 'heads up'. Will be interesting to see if they come through with different 'versions'…….touring, etc……based on the survey results I recall seeing a year or more ago. [Triumph: please stop for a bit…I have a Street Scram on order and cannot afford yet another 'distraction' :-)

Awesome...now to find a nice, low mileage R model someone is dumping because they just gotta HAVE the new one.

Get lined up and buy buy buy fellas...please flood the market with "old" and "outdated" models.

I'm pretty sure I'm selling mine come next August/September. Which will be 1 year owning it. Already looking at the Ducati Multistrada 1200S Touring as my next bike.

Will have a Remus Hypercone, SW-Motech Blaze bags, Engine and frame protection kits, Fly screen, Belly Pan, and RAM iPhone 6/7 plus mount.

By then I know I'll want something a bit bigger for 2-up touring.

see you in infinity...

Who said it's a 2018? They could easily have a 2017 Street 800 alongside the already released 2017 Street 675.

do i sound "old-fashioned" if i say that i do want it to be the same (will never be the same)???? or at least pretty much the same? I mean i love the round headlights the simple and industrial design and yet the new technologies. Can they do that or do we have to pay 1600 for a conversion???? https://motodemic.com/shop/dual-roun...ht-conversion/ .... I loved the triple speed and street for being what it is (or actually was). Hope i could change their minds!

Yes you sound old fashion. You can always buy a used bike if you want that.

Love all these sweet naked bikes coming out in the next year or two.

If the first reveal is coming in January, then I doubt it will hit dealerships for several more months.

An R version with Ohlins, Brembo, full TC, and a partial fairing would be right up my alley, but I would never buy a new bike right after it's released. Besides, I wouldn't mind trying something different next like a KTM (did someone say "790"?).
