I just bought a 2008 Thruxton a few weeks ago to go with my TBird Storm and have been compiling a list for the family:
Rick's Hotshot mosfet rectifier
Yuasa battery or maybe go lithium
Oberon rear pegs
LSL bar end mirrors
Triumph fork gaiters
WilderFactory "cheese grater" skid plate
Triumph center stand
speed bleeders for brakes
I just ordered a pair of Sidi Mag-1 boots for me, will probably pull the trigger on a Two Brothers slip-on for the bike next week.
The new AGV Pista GP-R "Soleluna" has my attention though...
I would like a front disc for my '95 Thunderbird 900, but being in Oz they are hard to come by.
I am starting to consider upgrading brakes and suspension for it now, but that would make it no longer original.
Hmmm, originality.....if I had an antique I would do my best to keep it original...but if it's newish, I am going to sling parts at it, until it is what I wanted in the first place! Do them brakes if ya want to. Where there is will there is a way. The shipping charges will make your hair stand on end I am sure but any place worth doing business with ought to be able to ship down under!
Got my new Bonnie this year. Been dousing her in farkle for months. But now that I've rode her a couple months to really appreciate her gentle personality quirks, time for new SUSPENSION!!!
My liver and kidneys are for drinkin', and doing double duty absorbing road bumps seems unfair to them. So I'm hoping all the shopping links that I send daily to my GF are wearing her down, and eventually making it to Santa. Mmmmm......Hagons.
But I'll also take one of these.
*shake* *shake* Gotta be a Street Triple or some socks....
This year she'll be getting fresh paint, a complete dechroming and a new motor to replace the one I blew up. Now if someone could make sure my @55 was comfy we'd be good for next year.
I really want an SC Project can but I just cannot decide between the CR-T or the Conic. Been struggling to decide since the day I got my ST3, six months ago. My heels hit the stock can, so I'm worried that the Conic will have the same problem. I prefer the look of the CR-T but worried that it's too loud. Help me please!!!
Santa IS real after all!
Goes by the name of JonBon3, and he dropped a pair of pillion footrest down the chimney so that my kid's kid can now get a ride on the back!
Cheers Jon, -Jools

Lol,trust me I'll be at the local leather shop before I get to the track.
Got a good enough deal on this that even with alterations it'll still be a bargin.
I finally got around to buying my own Christmas and JAN birthday gift. And I guess I can throw in Valentine's Day too. My wife has given up with regards to buying me gifts. Tells me to just let her know what she bought me. Ha.
Anyway, I picked up a SENA 10S this past weekend. I've been wanting one for a while. Can't wait to test it out this upcoming weekend.
As it turns out NYST fit my schedule best.
Booked may 13th. Can't wait
