Although I'm sure everyone is making these timed runs on closed courses under proper monitoring and supervision let's not get too competitive. Just as our little family is starting to grow, I'd hate for anyone's next of kin to have to report to us why we haven't heard from one of our regulars in a long time.

Of course. They all come with a fine-line marking pen to convert KPH to MPH.

115mph
felt like my head was about to be ripped off by the wind blast ...the bike is designed to go faster than that but I am not !!
My fav speed range is from about 50 - 80 ....I can still hear the lovely engine noise and I have a chance to avoid the cars pulling out , deer on the road, old dear on the road, old bill, etc etc ....be a bit different on a track...who has done that so far? Doggy ;maybe we can have a blat around brands someday?

Maybe, but trackdays are getting really expensive!I did one at Brands a few years ago and my arms and legs ached for 2 days! Will meet up when the weather gets better, we will have to get as many south east striples together as possible for a ride out.

I ain't admittin' nuthin'
But this pic showed up on my phone after todays ride.

I wonder how that got there?
If I knew more, I'd be able to tell you that it still had a bit to go to the rev limiter, & that it isn't fully run in yet. So she should do better yet.
But of course, I don't know anything about it.

I got 135mph out of one on a test ride. I'd been on it about 15mins - shows how easy these things are to ride

It felt like there was more in it, but I ran out of road (and bottle wasn't far behind...)

The wind blast is likely the main thing that'll slow you down. I tested on a clear, windless day and a quiet country road and reached that speed pretty easily, even if I found it hard to actually *read* the speedo! I've since tried finding the top end of my speed triple and was stopped at 139mph by a brisk headwind. The blast is something you get used to, but on windy days (like today) it gets uncomfortable at noticeably slower speeds. Likely I'll be under 3 figures on the way home
