Spoke Wheels for a Striple

Here's a speed triple with wire wheels. So Nice. I wonder if they can be had for the street triple too.

Nice look! Any idea on what wire rims would cost?

Wire wheels might look nice, but they tend to be a pain. I get tired of cleaning the wire wheels on two bikes as it is. The spoked black rims are fine by me, especially for the rear due to chain lube fling. My Moto Guzzi has a set of tubeless wire wheels which are really cool though. Like I said, I just get tired of cleaning them. I think the tubeless are built in Germany. I'm not sure of the manufacturer though. I'll have to take a look and see if they're marked.

Amen! They're nice on my Bonneville, but I don't think I would care to mess with them on a bike that's not retro in appearance to begin with.

I think that bike looks OK, apart from the horrible gold frame!

It looks pretty cool, but I think it's a photochop. Especially in the second photo, the wheel doesn't seem to be in line with the bike. The hub also looks wrong, just something about the lighting and shadows...

That said, I do like the look. Nice mix of modern and retro. I wouldn't like to be the one to clean it though.

I concur about the frame color, it would look great on my roulette green Streple. Not that wild about the wires though. Like the single headlight, might do something similar with HID, anyone done that?

It's not a Photoshop job. They used a fill light on the LH side of the bike along with natural light from the right front quarter. Not so sure I like the single headlight, gold frame, or the wire wheels, but then it's not my bike.
