2 months from start to finish & now it's home!
Hi all,
Picked up my new addition to the family on the 1st November, obviously pleased as punch, only had time to put 70 miles on her but hope to get out tomorrow for a ride (below 6000 rpm).
Cheers. Greg
p.s noticed that other members photos are larger, is this because they are uploaded from a website? appreciate any assistance with this for future postings/pix

Congratulations all, from another White family member. The rain and hurricane winds never materialized (thanks a lot, weather.com!), so I'm bundling up and going for a quick ride this afternoon.
Yes, the larger photos are stashed online. I use flickr.com -- it's free and works just fine. (I used use the image icon and paste in the url obtained from right-clicking while I'm viewing the picture. All the image button does is enclose the url in img tags.)
Enjoy!
Don
P.S. Is there enough room underneath the flyscreen to put an EZ-pass, if you all have such a thing? It's a toll-collecting device -- a plastic square (3.5" x 3" x .25"). There are mounts but they're rather ugly.

Congratulations, Greg! Very nice indeed.
About photos: third-party sites are OK as long as they don't automatically delete your pictures after a relatively short time or dump older ones if you go over your quota. However, if you like, you can also upload pictures to an album of your own right here at TriumphRAT.net and link to them.
In the menu column at the left, scroll down until you see the Contribute section, then click the Photo link. It should more or less guide you through the process. Capture the URL of the photo after it has been uploaded, and insert that into your message.
For help with creating that link after the upload, you can consult the IMG code reference in the vB Code guide here.

Hi chap, difficult to say right now. As you know I am running in and 6th gear equates to around 65 mph @ 6000 rpm so at this speed I had no problems. I guess whatever the windblast is, we will have to accept it, afterall it is one of the trade offs of having a naked bike!
No point in me having that cowl as I would have to take it off all the time for the wife, looks cool though. Hope you get the other bits sorted quickly, looks complete then. How many miles u clocked up now?

I've had it 2 weeks yesterday and now done 468 miles, it's booked in for first service next Saturday. 85mph was just bearable today on the motorway, had a quick blast upto 119mph but far to windy. I got the cowl as my wife hardly ever goes on the bike

to doggy675, the fly screen really works well at speed. you can feel the weight on your hands lighten as you go above about 55 or 60 MPH. It's really pleasant at 75 to 80 but not at all uncomfortable at much slower speeds. I was quite surprised at how well it works.
