Rear pegs removed.

I removed the rear pegs today on the street triple, bit of a pain in the arse job but here's a couple of pics.It will look better if my seat cowl ever turns up....

1. remove seat
2 remove rear bodywork
3 loosen exhaust clamp bolt
4 remove upper exhaust nut
5 remove exhaust
6 undo rear peg bolts and remove pegs.

Glad to see someone has done this, I've been trying to imagine what it would like without the rear pegs. My wife will never go on the back.

It looks good. Have you any pics of the whole bike from the side ?

You don't need to remove anything to get at the nuts which hold the pegs on!

They are a little bit fiddly to get at, but really not a problem. The only problem is they are real tight, as they have been loctite'd into place. Just need a spanner (12mm I think?), and you can get to them from behind the bike.

I have removed mine, but will put them on whenever my missus wants to go on the back, only takes 5 minutes to put back on.

If you look just in front of the exhaust, you can see the 2x mounting points
