Very cool! Did she put a few miles on it over the weekend, and if so, what's her reaction?

Unfortunately, we have guests coming, and spent most of the weekend working on the house. Of the little time we got, she really liked it. Notably, the powerband is much greater than her Speedmaster...and she remarked how difficult it was to keep it under the recommended break-in rpms.

Only negative she has is that the seat is a bit hard.

It was just about impossible to keep to the recommendations when my bike was brand new. The 675 motor just wants to rev, and it sure tells you!

Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon.

Yeah, I've ridden the Daytona, and am curious how torquier the Street feels (I've read that it is tuned with a bit more grunt down low). Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until the 500 mile oil change to find out.

After all, the mechanic must test ride his work.
