I've got mine....first pics.

I picked my bike up last night at 6'oclock, the seat cowl, fly scree and visor are on back order and will be here in a week or two but got the bellypan. Only did 21 miles on the way home last night as it was bloody freezing!. 5k is impossible to stick to so using 6k instead as it's less of a chore. Going out all day today when the heavy frost has lifted!

The bike has been great so far, really wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing as I loved my 05 gixer, but the street has been a revelation.I have been going upto 6k revs instead of 5k as you were constantly changing gear, when she gets 150-200 miles on her I wil probably take her to 6.5k-- 7k, the engine just pulls and wants to rev.I'll be glad when the other bits I ordered turn up and she will lok a lot better then as well.

Good points-All most everything.Riding position, engine, looks etc although suspension does seem a little firm.

Bad points- side stand hasn't got a knob on it so it can be tricky to put foot onto to flick the stand down.
Speedo not easy to read at a quick glance
When the sun shines on the chrome bars it makes the speedo even harder to read.
Virtually no underseat storage, not enough for even a pair of over trousers.
Silent exhaust note.

Overall a fantastic bike and am totally over the moon with her.

Now upto 193 smiles, I have set the 7 led's to come on at 7k revs all at once. There are 4 choices and you can set them to come on at 4k and upto the redline in 1k increments, accidentely went upto 8k a couple of times when nipping past some traffic. I allways used to wear earplugs but haven't worn any yet while on the st because the airbox growl at 6k plus is so bloody addictive.I probably won't get out on her again until the weekend, probably have her run in in 2 weeks.

Well, it's up to you, but for someone who was worried about oil consumption, I think I'd have been a little more observant of the limits in these first few hundred miles.
