Tonight at 6:30pm Friday my local dealer unveiled the new Street Triple at their shop. It was a cool machine to finally see up close...it is going to steal a lot of sales from the Speed Triple I think. Thats my opinion. It is small but everything is set up right. I could be persuaded to buy one after I test ride one. This one tonight was already sold, and the dude was there. He was kind enough to let us sit on it after he had his turn at it. It was the Roulette Green and was bare, no accessories and the stock pipes. Seeing it up close and right next to a 675 Daytona and a 07 Speed Triple was cool. It isn't dwarfed by the Speed Triple like I though it would be. It's rear seat isn't as high as the 675 because it doesn't have to fit the undertail exhaust, so the rear looks shorter to the ground. I liked it a lot more than I though I would. The dealers name is Doug Douglas Motorcycles in San Bernardino, California. the phone is 909 884 4776.
