Accessories?
I have been rather frugal thus far: As currently ordered, my white Street Triple will only be fitted with a seat cowl and a flyscreen, both color-matched.
Am still hesitant about the belly pan (a bit costly) and having second thoughts about the gel seat (I had fitted one on my Daytona 675. It was a bit more comfortable than the stock saddle but only INITIALLY. It seemed that, over time, the gel moved backwards, i.e. away from my arse !?).
And, as far as pipes are concerned, MAYBE the Street Triple (unlike the vast majority of my former mounts!!!) will retain the standard ones... They sound great, BTW.
But it seems that here in Switz. many people want the (street legal?) 3-into-1 Arrow ex-factory option.
What's on YOUR shopping list?
Jamie

Coming from a Speed Triple background, I'm inclined to keep mine as pure naked as possible. Which turns out to be a very good thing, since here in the States it's not at all clear what accessories are actually available to us! My dealer did not even have an authoritative list when I placed my reservation.
True, Triumph's St3 microsite hints at some nice options, but what's actually listed by part numbers in the Accessories tool on the regular Web site...
(a) has varied from week to week (there were once such goodies as custom paint schemes and a nice seat bag shown), and...
(b) is currently a mighty slim selection, consisting only of a gold-anodized top yoke nut, crash bobbins, and an alternate tail light assembly. No gel seat, no bellypan (which is OK 'cause I don't think it would look as good in white as it does in green or black), no flyscreen, no Arrow exhausts... almost none of the basics which are shown as being available in Europe.

Have to say that my favourite part of my old "big trailie" Aprilia Pegaso was the dual high up cans. Most people here seem not to like them but I'm keeping mine!
The seat cowl seems a bit of a pain if you plan to carry anyone pillion. It looks good from a distance but close up its just a piece of fibreglass that plops over the back part of the seat so I don't see the point.
I am trying to figure out whether the C/F tank pad is really worth £30 compared to around £10 to £15 for a standard aftermarket one.
I really like the undertray but cannot justify £145 at the moment. On the other hand I did splash out £300 for the Alarm and around £150 for the fairing/flyscreen because I do a fair bit of riding in miserable conditions.
The gel seat seems like a bit of a waste to me though since I am a lightweight I don't usually have a problem with seat confort. My problem is feet not reaching the ground!
The anodised nut for the top of the yoke and a few other things seemed a bit of a waste BUT I do want to look at finding some discreet or complementary looking crash bobbins. I had some on the Speed Triple that I tried which looked good but they were really chunky and I think they'd look stupid on the street.
The tailpack for £89 seems like a good investment since I don't really like tankbags and I'm getting fed up with carrying a rucksack if I want to carry some gear.
I kind of like the look of the grab rail but I'd like to see a bike with one fitted before I hand over £89.
C/F front mugaurd (£149) and/or chainguard (£69) are not on my "to-do" list I'm afraid but they were listed in a Motorcycle News "exclusive" report....
I think that is pretty much the current "official" accesory list!
PS: (according to MCN) the 3-1 "low-boy" arrow exhaust is £750 so the street leal slip on silencers are probably going to be the same if not more. That's going to be a pretty expensive upgrade for a bike that already sounds and performs great but some guys will be prepared to pay for the exclusivity and a claimed 50% weight reduction compared to the standard system.

I am looking at having the screen and visor combination, the clear rear light assembly for a bit of bling, the gel seat because I am heavy and want to do long days in the saddle and an alarm because I live in London.
The £30 tank pad is not worth it. I have one on my Sprint. It works well but it isn't worth 2 or 3 times as much as an aftermarket one. Maybe I will try and get one thrown in free ?
As for a tailpack, I think the Kreiga items are much better and cheaper. That's also why I am not going for a seat cowl. Taking it off all the time to put the tailpack on will be a nuisance.
The C/F items and the belly pan are too expensive for what will basically just be decoration. I was looking at the hugger, but a dealer told me it is very small and completely ineffective, so I will wait for an aftermarket one. And some aftermarket bobbins - R&G are bound to bring some out before too long.

If I got one, it would have to have the Arrow exhaust. Everything else is baggage!

I think i'll be getting the seat cowl and possibly TOR slip ons to retain the high pipes. (I think I saw these as available?). I thought about the gel seat, but for the kind of money it costs I could easily have gel added to the stock seat so why bother? I think that's about it as far as triumph accessories. Some aftermarket luggage will be in order though.

I've always been a fan of low exhausts, plus I think it will be useful in keeping the heat off of me and my gf. I'm worried about its noise though, I don't like loud bikes. Actually I don't like drawing attention to myself when I'm being naughty is the problem. I would be all over a "street legal" version of the 3-1. I haven't found any hard data on it though.
I've been eyeballing the clear alternatives integrated blinkers for the daytona. Should fit no problem by the looks of it...but I can't be sure.
As far as the rest of the plastic...mmm...don't know. Can always add it later. This bike gets pretty expensive pretty quick when you add in all the plastic. I like to think that I'll fabricate something custom...but I probably will never get around to it...

Yeah, I am alittle concerned about the exhausts being where they are and passengers. Maybe the low boy is a better choice. Still, I do like the high exhaust.

Around here, sales tax on the vehicle (as-delivered , including accessories) is 3%; local sales tax is 7.5%. For bigger-ticket items, that tax savings can really amount to something! So I've been looking hard at which accessories I'd like to get.
So far, dart windscreen; maybe that added windscreen jobbie that attaches atop it; seat cowl. Agonizing over the TORs right now.

Exhaust
The noise from the stock exhaust is pretty impressive already. Before you blow £750 (US$1500 ?) on the 3 in 1 you might want to try the stock bike.
There are weight savings with the 3 in 1, but the bike is so ridiculously light anyway I couldn't see the need for that. As for the power gains of a new exhaust, the **** thing goes so quick already that I was happy enough. It overtakes at 90 at the same pace that it blasts off from 30. Awesome
