Rear Stands for Spools

Wondering if anyone has anything to share about rear stands they own. Trying to find a good one, but wondering the difference between cheaper ones and expensive ones.

If you have one and love it, why?

If you have one, but it's crap, why?

Pit bull, it will out last you. You can buy a cheaper one and possibly have to replace it, or buy the pit bull, and sell it when you are too old to ride.

I bought a cheap one from my local triumph dealer. Cost about $50 and has worked just fine. If its being used on a street triple and you are not throwing it around the garage for fun, im sure any stand will work just fine.

I have a T-Rex. It works, but it's out of true, and the wheels don't spin too freely without being under load. Even when it's on the bike all four wheels don't contact the ground. I need to spend some time tweaking it, but if I would have just gotten a Pit Bull, I wouldn't have these issues.

Pitbull forward handle here.

pro: strong, stiff, allows you to grab the handlebar to put the bike in position
con: tip of handlbar is showing wear because I move and slide the bike around my garage as I work on the bike. It could use a delrin or plastic cover to prevent this.

Pitbull forward handle. Cool thing is kick stand does not get in the way on this bike when pushing handle to ground.

I have a Powerstands Black Max stand. It works OK, but I wish I had just bought the Pit Bull stand. It's never quite true, and I'm constantly tweaking it to get all 4 wheels on the ground (and the tip of the lift hook from gouging my swingarm). I already have a few scratches on my swingarm from using it, and and rubber coating on the lift hooks is coming off - and I got it 3 months ago.

I saved $40 and it absolutely wasn't worth it. I bet it will be in the trash in 6 months and I'll be buying a Pit Bull.

I have these as well. I would have gotten the pitbulls but these were given to me for free. But I like them and have had no issues with them.

I've got a T-Rex rear stand and I love it. I personally haven't had any issues with mine, it's straight and true and easy to use, seems to be well thought out.

Oh, I guess I should mention this; I washed the bike once while on the rear stand, the following day I moved the stand and noticed some rusty water coming out of it, I haven't pulled it apart yet to see where the source is, but I've used it plenty of times since then with no issues.
