Last year I think the 2012s came out in like Oct. of 2011, so this is like 4 months later. Triumph seems to be trying to make sure they sell all they deliver to the dealers so they don't have too much inventory and bikes left over that they might have to discount. Or it could be the re-design too, I suppose. Kawa did this same thing with the Ninja 300. They arrive at dealers just one or two at a time. I think companies learned this trick from Apple Computer....create demand and keep prices high by limiting production. GM has done that with the Corvette for many years though.

Hey Bud, I got mine from Triumph in Metuchen, NJ. Great people there. Their a high volume dealer so probably get a bit of a priority.

Also a lil' FYI the dealer in Manhattan has a Black 2013 if someone is looking into the black. Not sure if they are selling but it's something to look at.

I was there tonight my bike is there and has been put together. Just waiting on a few accessories to come in and get installed next week, and the dealer is delivering it to my door next Saturday. I was so antsy too, especially being bored at work, but seeing it really helps, plus it's been pretty cold so I'm not in a huge rush to go out on brand new tires in 20-30 degree weather.

I'll say this though it looks so much better in person in every detail, absolutely stunning. Any doubts I might have had have vanished, I don't regret a dime spent. Pictures don't do it justice. The red details are nicer, the exhaust doesn't look as bulky, even the dingleberry thing that holds the license plate and the awkward mirrors aren't real eyesores, it all blends nicely.

I even asked for those that asked me about the ETA on more Street Triples. They sold a Graphite one there today, and said it shouldn't be long even though the order was just placed. Basically if you don't have money down, it's just when your dealer happens to get one. He also told me because of their status as a dealer, if an order comes in they can't fill, their regional manager will buy one from another dealer to make it happen.

I ordered mine with a deposit in November. Dealer doesn't expect it to arrive until March. I'd love to have it in my garage but then it would tempt me to ride it when the roads are covered in salt/sand.

Thanks for the info. If you're interested I can put together a ride up here in NNJ in the spring. We have some amazing roads that will fit the Street to a "T"!

I'm there, I ride to High point state park alot, really like that area, and the roads up around RT 23.. If you make something happen keep me in the loop.

I'll get something together as soon as the roads are clear of all the sand and salt, probably April. I put on a few rides for the Buell group that everyone enjoyed. I have a few 100 mile loops that are fun, challenging, and will tire you out from all the twisties!
