Hey,

I laid my bike down a few weeks ago on the 101 freeway in LA, and it looks like I need to get my gas tank replaced, I was thinking about changing the color, My bike is currently Red, I really like black or Matte Black...

Please Share any pictures, and feedback!

When I see someone say this, I've come to expect another crappy rattle-can paint job coming up. I hope that's not what your plan is.

I duplicated the factory matte orange. The paint on these bikes is world class and you should go all the way to keep that look.

The matte is actually a clear coat unlike Ducati's matte black. It is much more durable and easy to repair. When I did mine I laid the base-mid and gloss clear and let it harden. So I got a look at how the gloss orange would look. Then I applied the decals and sprayed the matte clear. I would do the same process if I were to do black or say... Steve McQueen green.

Maybe off-topis, but here's my flyscreen on my 2011 speed triple. It's a little paint job that i've did this summer, the time i was drinking 3-4 beers
