MV Agusta brutale 675

I want a street 2013, a tiger 800XC and now, a brutale 675
My god, why we want always more????
I've call the MV dealer today, and he tell me that he only have 3 brutales for 2013. He make me a price, $1600 more than a 2013 street. The look of the brutale is absolutly awesome (apart for the front light, look like a Suzuki Gladius), the sound....Wowwwww!!!!!
But the suspension has nothing to do with the street. No adjustement on both, fork and shock.
Brembo radial brakes, and the white/gold colors is beautiful.....

But, this f....g dealer don't want to take my speed 2011 in exchenge.

Realy, the Brutale 675 is a beast!!! And this bike is 100% Italian built. Not like Triumph, who make a lot of their bike in Thailland.

I ride with a guy who bought and just sold his MV F3, the bike is fantastic.
While MV has been doing sexy for ever, and their new 675 engine is a very good indeed, you get more bang for your buck with the Street Triple and if you up for the R version, you still get more for less. The Triumph has some great usable power, while the MV is a bit high strung, and you need to keep the revs up, nice in the twisties, but not so great in city traffic. For me owning more than one bike is a given, owning more than 2 would be great, but I would not duplicate the bike types. I have the Street Triple, a Sprint ST, and wouldn't mind a Tiger or even a Daytona.
Of the 3 bikes you mentioned the Striple would be the best all arounder. (IMO)

Brutale 675

I read ALOT about this bike as well. It looks dead sexy and has great performance. As you said it trails a little in the suspension area but leads in breaks and HP.

The part that steared me away was all of the electrical extras. (more stuff to go bad IMO). In addition to this I would assume that the maintenance costs would be higher in addition to the higher MSRP.

I would really have a tough decision on my hands if there was an MV Agusta Brutale 800 sitting around in Houston waiting to be purchased/tested.

They put the suspension extras brakes and 130ish HP into that model and its the same weight as the 675 brutale. Tasty

It will along with the Rivale 800.
I could be persuaded on that bike.

IMO the Brutale 675 has been a relative flop......the B800 is the bike to watch ....

Screw the MV675; you have a 2011 Speed Triple?! Check the aftermarket for all the hot stuff you can do to this thing. I'd start with the Arrow 3-1 and map (drops a lot of weight too), and Ohlins TTX shock before taking a loss and blowing a sh*t-load of money on a new model MV675 that does not have all the kinks worked out. You can really bling out your Speed with the money you are talking about and it will blow the MV into the weeds. - Wayne

The brutale 800 is new and ridiculously priced, I agree. It is one sexy looking machine tho. With the extra $$ saved i can afford to do almost everything I would like to do to the 2013 model. I can't wait till there is more info on after market and factory addon parts for the MY13. Do you think the prices for the factory addons will be close to last two years?
