Maintenance Free HD Battery Recommendations?

Took the R for a ride in our balmy 46F weather today wearing my Gerbings heated clothing and, at this point, it's pretty obvious the battery's toast. It won't start the bike unless the battery itself is warm (yes, the connections are all tight and it was working fine until the cold weather set in). It stays at 85% charge on my BatteryTender for hours on end. Classic Fall impending battery death symptoms. As a result, I'm looking for a new battery and would like the group's input.

Those of you who are using a maintenance free HD battery...what battery are you using, where did you get it, and how satisfied are you with its cold weather performance?

For cold weather areas get the 18Ah Shorai model. Lithium batteries need some cranking to get the ions perked up in cold weather. Get the battery charger/tender ($60) if you can afford it; it plugs right into a cord to the 5 pin port on the battery. - Wayne
