Triumph service bulletin headlight replacement

You might have heard that the headlight lens is cracking on some of the bikes with the new headlights.

Vin 480782 to 526783

Apparently it doesn't affect all of them though as you need to check the headlight lens itself to be sure. On the lower edge of each lens is a manufacturer part number.

Old part numbers
90 5239 R, 90 5340 L

New part numbers
90-5239 R, 90-5340 L

The only difference is the dash between the first and second set of numbers. If you have a dash then you have the updated part.

mine starts with 53, looks like i'm ok. can't believe they haven't put out a bulletin for the turn signals breaking yet.

I have a 548xxx VIN and both my lights have hairline fractures. Did not check for - in part number yet.

Looks like they changed things again on the 2013's. Mine has different #'s for the left and right lens.

LH lens: TYC-90-5240 L
