Fortuna,
The only accessory I ordered was the flyscreen and he couldn't guarantee that it would arrive with the bike. At least it would be on order and as soon as it's available I'd get it.

That's the same word I'm getting. Oh well, as long as the bike shows up, i can wait for the blingy parts.

Well, BMW finally came out with official information on the new F800ST, which now is actually a GT. I'm interested in this bike for very different reasons than the Striple. If I were to get it, I would very seriously think of keeping the SV as a fun bike.

AND, as if I wasn't confused enough already, this shows up:

Some...okay...many of us will consider this fugly, but form follows function in my book, and if it all just flat works, that's the true definition of beauty.

Hopefully, the folks over at Twisted Throttle will be furiously working on a pannier/luggage rack solution for the newest Striple. There are really only a couple of occasions per year where I would like to "tour." Other than those, it's just commuting and fun riding, but having it and not needing it is better than needing it and not having it.

What to do...what to do...? Very happy no one is holding a gun to my head right now.

The only other choice is Frederick, MD, which is 50 miles away.

I've never not ridden a bike home from buying it, but it looks like I might have to break out the trailer for this one. Especially if it's in Feb or Mar.
BKK Jack - I live in Southern MD and I purchased my '12 Street Triple from Chesapeake Cycles in Annapolis MD. The Drive for me is 57 miles and it is well worth the trip. The guys at chesapeake cycles are top notch and they went out of their way to find me a white std street when I couldnt find one anywhere else. I delt with Lance and Mike and both were outstanding to work with.

Thanks. It seems all indicators point to Chesapeake.
