You are good to go. I found some video and this image of the '09 R with the Arrow cans.

Based on those images you should be good to go. The only issue I see is the original rear fender has a bolting point for the rear of the racks. Check out this image:

BTW, not to derail this too much farther, but whatever happened to Snooty?

He's still around, but not that active. He pretty much only posts in the photogenic SV thread.

It's your thread, you can do whatever you want. I think it's going to be awhile before TT can get their hands on a 2013 to check compatibility, or update their design.

BOT, I really like the Givi Easylock bags; just not sure if I like their racks. I'd love to have a system that could be completely installed and removed from the bike in not too long - maybe around an hour - that had both side racks and a luggage rack that wasn't necessarily for a top box.

Givi would have to completely redesign their mounting system - IIRC - it used the muffler mounting points in the subframe that I'm pretty sure no longer exist with the low exhaust and the new subframe

For what it's worth, the Givi TPH10 mount (TE705) takes about 10 minutes to put on or take off. It's a very simple, solid, well thought out mount. Not gruesomely ugly when left on the bike to my eyes, but I've got carbon DanMotos and I'm a function over form kinda guy anyway.

If I have to add a luggage rack (not sure how good the Givi "semi hard" bags are going to be for capacity...I like to tour occasionally), I'll probably wind up going with the SWMotech system. It looks fine with nothing at all on it.

Not really. I've just been posting in here a bunch.

You're more patient & flexible than I am.

I want something that will let me snap 100-120L of weatherproof hard cases on, and I want to be able to put it on or take it off the bike in 3 seconds with no tools.

The ugly rack I had on my 690 would have swapped off or on in about 15 mins with basic tools and I never took it off, despite really hating how it looked on there.

I noticed that after I posted, but didn't have the energy to go back and change it. My apologies to the OP.

My miles are 99% commuting and fun riding, and I typically don't just take off for a couple days on the spur of the moment. I'll have the time to set it up for any proper trip I do.
