So I found 2 places online that had the tail pack kit "in stock" ordered it from the first place and then got an email saying it has been discontinued. Same thing happed 2 days later with the other site. I called my dealer and placed an order for one the following day. I got a call over the weekend saying that the tail pack kit is now obsolete and was refunded my money.

Is anyone here interested in selling their Tail Pack Kit for a 2012 Street Triple? Or does anyone know of a place that has one in stock for sure?

Thanks for your help.

Try giving El Dorado Cycle, in El Dorado Springs, Mo a call. I know of a guy that just traded in his Streety for a Speedie. He told me his tail and tank bags went with his bike.

If you can't find the Triumph Tail Pack - get a Kriega US10 or 20.

As an alternative, have you checked out the Kriega gear? I have a US-20 drybag, waterproof an excellent quality!

Thanks for all of the replys. I have been seriously considering a Kirega US 20 or US 10. Do any of you have both of them? I was originally looking at the US 10 but I think I would need a little more room. However, I am not sure that I need all of the room that the US 20 offers. Its always better to have more than you need though!

I have both. These packs work best if stuffed full. For a simple day-trip, I prefer the US-10. I can stuff a rain suit and extra pair of gloves in it, or camera stuff, ect. I don't notice it behind me when moving around in the seat.

The US-20 is good for a several-day trip where you want to bring along extra clothing, guns, a laptop, ect. I hauled an impact wrench in it once, lol. Packed full, I do notice it behind me when riding aggressively.

Get both - you can attach the 10 on top for extra capacity. Each has it's time.

For sure get the US 20 bag as it holds all sorts of goodies like laptops, power supplies, garage door openers, clothing, your lunch or dinner and whatever you can stuff into them. They are amazing bags

Thanks for the help everyone! After much brain crunching and a staring contest with my computer screen I ended up ordering a Kriega US20. For what I want/need to carry that seemed like the best option. I also liked the ability to attach the smaller US10 like some of you mentioned. I should receive it in the mail today and I will let everyone know what I think once it is on the bike.

Thanks again for all of the suggestions and insight.

Kriega Dry Bag Stain

I just got a Kreiga US20 and love the bag. Just what I needed for my daily commute. I was checking the bag over when I got it and noticed that the dry bag has a large grey/black stain on the inside. Has anyone else seen this and does it cause problems with the waterproofness? It is not a used bag.
