I've Put them on today!
My bike is dirty as a mud pool...
Anyway, got them second hand in good shape.
Not yet satisfied with position but it's getting dark early and ran out of time.
Clearance is ok, but I am dissatisfied with the ways you can install them.
While it is theoretically possible to use all angles, in practice, if you don't rise it all the way up 3", you can't install it because of the triple tree that's in the way of the clipon head...

Also, I glued my Oxford heated grips too tight to the original bar... Could not get it off. I let the other one sit on the gas handle, so now I have no heat lol and two different grips, stock on left side.

Haven't ridden it yet and will check tightness of all bolts again before I ride..

Did anyone put them upside down? Is that possible with clearance? Or is that too low? Will check later this week and report back

Also, I had to dremel down the pin in both electrical components/switch boxes on the handle bar to fit flush with the clipons. What did you guys do?

I plan to drill a hole in mine, when I get them. I'm guessing I will have to get everything pretty much set before I drill the hole.

i dremel'd the tips off as well. didn't want to drill holes in the bars themselves. I know someones installed them upside down so it's possible, they're just super low, so depends on personal pref. at that point.

I'm still trying to find the 'sweet spot' for myself as well...I would have it but the banjo that's connected to the front brakes master cylinder is my main problem. Might try and flip them at some point

I'm running my Apex clip on's upside down.

They feel perfect to me...just the way a triple naked bike should be.

She looks like a Brit cafe racer.. and feels like a track bike ...

Correct. The risers mount from the bottom of the fork leg clamps.

This makes them around 1"/25mm lower than the Daytona clip on's.

No clearance problems at all on my 2010 street.

Sorry, i'll try to get a pic asap.

Very cool mod - I love clip-ons on a naked bike. I ran my SV650 naked with clip-ons, but my Duke 690's upright riding position and a few years of getting older and lazier have meant that I leave that stuff for others now.
