Spooky ,are you using warmers? i hear you about the tearing, mine are doing ok...about 34psi when i come off the track. I also had the016 before and the only complaint was a very short front tyre life, spesh the edges(sound like yours?) .

Mate try the 003R it's just sensational.Rear is 002R front 003RS
Rear wore well just had rubber balling off the edge.

That's a pretty good wear pattern on those tires Tongie, it seems that your track pressures are pretty close to spot-on.

No tire warmers for me, just a couple of runs to warm them up and then go hard.

For a while I was running a BT003RS front and a BT016 rear and that worked well, too.

I'll try the 003R next.

Although interesting, all this bridgestone track day info is not much help to my initial question about the michelins. Oh well, As the weather is heating up round here I am finding much more traction with the power pures. I think they definitely need to be run with pressure a tad lower than the dunlop qualifiers. If they last better, I'm happy enough for now. Thanks everyone for your input.
