Help Pete Pick a Fairing !!

Looking at either a Ermax or Triumph OE flyscrren, wondering which unit people think looks better and actually deflects some wind. Sound Off !!

I hate to say this but this is ridiculous question. Only you can be the judge of what is aesthetically pleasing to your self. On a pure design level the Triumph factory screen is designed to fit the bike and blends with the bike well.

I know it's a subjective question, Mac. Was hoping eventually people would advise me on which ones to stay away from due to poor mounting, design, etc.

I've not heard anything bad about the mounting of any of them.

I just installed the Triumph windscreen/visor on top of the Triumph flyscreen I already had, and I really really like how it looks with that combo. I can get you some pictures in a day or so if you'd like.

I know something like this is truly subjective to the buyers/owners taste.

Personally I would stick to Triumphs own fly screen without visor, the ermax from pictures looks ok but i've always been weary of aftermarket body kits as some can look very 'aftermarkety'.

The Ermax is ok, and the fit is pretty good. It does deflect some wind but obviously does not come anywhere near what full fairings do on bikes such as the Daytona. I just took my Ermax off after mounting bar-end mirrors because I think the bike looks much better without. Ermax is certainly much better than that of the Triumph parts. Ooops, in terms of price, that is!!

I just installed the Triumph visor on the Triumph fly screen. I don't notice any difference in the airflow, but it sure looks cool. It kinda looks like the transformers that my kids used to play with.

The airflow change is there you just have to look for it. If you had used your hand to feel for calm air and turbulent air before and after you would have noticed that before you had turbulent air all the way down to your waist. Now you you have clean air over most of your lower body relieving a good deal of the tiring air resistance at highway speeds.
