Smile Wheels Difference

Asside from the color of the wheels i read a specs review that stated that the R had different "lightweight" wheels.

Not sure if this is true but the white R model comes with black wheels so am i to assume that there are two different black wheels the std ver. and the R version??

If so it would be nice to be able to order the blk R with the light weight blk wheels

Just wondering - can you order the wheels you like for your bike if it is being delivered?

No ....all Street Triples have the same wheels, just different colors.

However the Speed Triple R has lightweight forged aluminum wheels.

Does the current Street Triple R have a longer clutch cable than the standard Street Triple from 2010? I was reading that certain year models of Speed Triple have slightly different length cables and I was thinking I could solve a problem on mine if I had a cable about 2~3" longer than stock.

I'll have to check the fiche but I believe the R had longer cables then the standard Street up until they started putting the aluminum bars on the standard Street.
