Unhappy Crashed Street Triple... stupid hurts.

Well, it finally happened. I wrecked my Street. I'd rather not say how, it's kind of embarrassing. No one else was involved. I am fine, just a sprained wrist some road rash and a bruised ego. Waiting for the insurance to make a decision, I think it will be totaled. I'm thinking about getting a Rocket III, I just act too stupid on a sportbike. I can't get photobucket to work right now so pics will come later.

Sorry to hear about your accident - but as stupid as you might think it is, your story might save someone else from making the same mistake, whatever that was, so lay it on us.
I am glad to hear that you are not throwing in the towel on motorcycling. Many folks never get back in the saddle after a wreck. Best wishes on your next steed, whatever it may be.

Sorry to hear that, BRich. Awaiting pics of your poor girl. And as Nean said, sharing helps noobs like me think twice about doing things, so I hope you will.

Hope your wrist and rash mend quickly.

Best.

Gotta echo what Neanderthal and D'Artagnan said! Sorry to hear about it.

But bear in mind...a Rocket III is not exactly a sedate little creampuff itself.

Sorry to hear of your off. Heal quickly and well. My youngest gets his cast off this Friday. Broke his wrist 5 weeks ago playing softball.

Talking

Don't worry, i managed to completely total mine, 2 hours after riding away from the dealership (hit a pile of sand)...

Fortunately insurance gave me a brand new triple and all has been well and safe in the triple riding world for the last 10 months...

Just be glad you're okay

hehe, yeah, been lurking a while but felt like the right time to let someone else know that others have done worse

I'll shove the pictures up at some stage, with the right exhaust sitting next to the front right fork... Interesting triumph design change...
