Change to 2010 instrument package

We all know about the orange faced clocks on the 2010 Street Triple. Someone said that Triumph was already planning to change this again in 2010. Does anybody know anything more about this?

Plans? Who knows. This one is showing up on Daytonas and I certainly like it better than the orange one:

That looks cool and all, but I like mine just the way it is. Only thing I'd change is the buttons... hard to reach

Not bad. I am not sure about the blue backlight on the digital display, but I do like the way they rotated the tach numbers 90 degrees... subtle but cool. I prefer the white face, though.

PokeyJoe: There is a story today on Motorcycle News.com that seems to say that all 675's, including the Street will be getting the panel you pictured.

Yeah, I saw that. I don't care one way or the other, however I do have an issue with the glare on the speedometer. Moving it over to the info display and changing the background to blue might help. I understand black handlebars and risers take care of the problem, too.

The new display looks incredibly awesome, in my opinion. Much better than the ridiculously ugly orange ones that we've seen.

I still love my bike though... although I will ask my dealer to order me a set of orange radiator cowls once the 2010 parts are available

I like the current instruments on ST3.
The new style (on the pic) seems to be ready for one finger operations
The blue back light is OK, but the distance from 4k to 6k, and from 6k to 8k, and so on is tiny. I prefer is the rev meter occupies the space from 6 o'clock till 2 o'clock/3 o'clock.
It is easier to count the segments of the coolant temp. in current version. (mine was getting overheated easily until first 1kkm). Currently I need a milisecond to check if temp. is 5 or 6 segments, But I was having even 8 and for a short while 9 when brand new.

New instruments for ST-R 2010

Dear friends, do you have any information or any rumours about the new instruments in 2010 Stree Triple R (not the model 2010 but the real ST R production of 2010) ? Because I want to make the order in Feb or March 2010, and my dealer can't answer me are they will be with new gauges or with the ugly orange ones ....

regards
