British Customs Control Clamps - Installation

Anyone know how the reservoir relocation spacer works for the St3R with the British Customs control clamps? I just got them to tidy up my bars after putting on CRG bar end mirrors, but I can't figure out where that reservoir is supposed to go. I'd ask BC, but they're closed for the night and I'd really like to have them installed for my ride tomorrow morning.

I just got these clamps. One installed, one to go...

For the reservoir, it seems the hose isn't quite long enough to reach that far without kinking at the ends. Maybe if the connector on the cylinder was pointing up... Mine is facing forward. Is there some way to rotate it?

I ran into the same problem, and ended up using the stock control clamp and reservoir bracket for the right side. I just secured the reservoir bracket to the control clamp using a bolt with the same thread as the old mirrors.

The bolt in the photo is actually another British Customs part, sold as a mirror hole filler.

Have you tried grabbing the little elbow with your fingers and rotating it?

We now have an installation video up on our website for the Control Clamps. You can view it here: http://www.british-customs.com/briti...rol-clamp.html.

We hope this helps.

Guess it must have been a combination of where I was standing and how tired I was the first time I tried. Seemed like it wouldn't easily turn.

After you posted that, I stood in front of the bike instead of reaching over from standing at the left side, and it turned easily.

Now I just need to actually do the installation...
