Noise in bumps

Just got a new street triple R and doing the break in.
It has developed a strange tinking noise when going over bumps or anything uneven in road.
Is this normal?

Hello I had the exact same problem. After searching a bunch of forums they all said it was the sleeve at the back of the tank (the one under the seat). I found that very hard to believe so after tightening everything i could find and still no solution i pulled the bolt out at the back of the tank then removed the bolt sleeve and put some grease on it and the ends of it. problem solved. give that a try i hope it helps.

It's also possible that you have a rock or some rocks on top of the pipes. It happens.
