What did you ride pre-Street Triple?

Hi guys,

Just wondering what you guys rode prior to purchasing your Street Triple.

It'd be interesting knowing what everyone's reviews are being compared to.

After riding around on my girlfriend's Honda Spada 250 for the last week or so, I'm starting to re-consider giving up my Daytona 955i for a smaller naked bike.

Cheers!

Mat

2002 Kawasaki Ninja EX250. A great bike in it's own right, I just wanted something a little heavier for Interstate use and the Striple was so darn good looking I could not resist. The little ninja can hold it's own despite what anyone else says.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

This is my first bike. It's very difficult to keep it under the speed limit.

Also just about every BMW made from 1970 - 2005 since I worked at a BMW dealership for 10 years.

What do you want to know about the Street besides it's the ultimate canyon weapon and retains reasonable comfort due to it's reasonable upright riding position.

Mattress, if I had a D955i, I'd hardly consider giving it up for any bike. But as good as some small bikes like the Ninja are, I assure you, there's no comparison between a Street Triple and a 250 anything.

My Street's current stablemates are a 2002 Bonneville and a 2001 Tiger. Other prior rides have included 1976 and 1980 Bonnevilles, a 650 Suzuki (no, not that one...the Savage), a 2003 HD XL1200S, a 2005 Speed Triple and a 2005 Rocket III.

sounds like a nice collection you have there!

I know what you mean about the comparison to a 250. I've had smaller naked bikes previously, and I love the way they look and handle around town... If that makes sense
