HID H4 upgrade ideas

Has anybody done a H4 HID upgrade where you have both HI/Low function? I found two options, one that comes with the HID low and Halogen Hi, and then Hi/Lo option that has a little motor that spins a cover or pivots the bulb. Considering the Hi/Lo option with the motor, I'm not sure if it will fit into the housing or if the rubber cover will fit over the back. Any experience with the motorized Hi/Lo HID version?

Considering the limited adjustability of the headlights on the Striple; the need for mouting TWO ballasts and the fact that it's a reflector headlight instead of a projector (like on the Daytona) have made most of us stay away from HID and just upgrade the halogen bulbs.

You would get a VERY poor light pattern from an HID in that big of a bucket and you wouldn't be able to use your "flash to pass" (something to do with ignitor timing and power and the main reason why most cars ue a halogen for the "flash" and the HID for actual bright and low). Normal Xeonon HID units on cars are usually pretty big assemblies and most are self leveling to keep on-coming glare down. You would really be surprised at what a good set of PIAA bulbs or Silverstars would do for a fraction of the cost.
