Unhappy Juuust great....

I just hit 1100 miles today, Shes finally broken in...after riding 110 miles today, I managed to pick up a nail....Now ive got to buy a new rear tire....Dammit...

Anyone else have this happen before knows it sucks..

Whilst you're spending money, may as well take the opportunity to change both tyres to something else!

You dont have to buy a new tyre. The old one can be repaired by a competent person witha plug. I ve managed to get over 5,000 km out of a pluged tyre with no worries.

depends on where the puncture is on the tyre, always a disclaimer with puncture repairs as they are meant to be 'temporary'

Are the standard factory fit tires that bad? Or is it that there are better tires out there for the same price. I'll be needing a new set shortly. Will have to start looking about.

Sport Rider Magazine actually gave the stock tires a very good rating in their tire comparison.
