St3R Orange with black Fly screen kit

Hi there,

I've got the orange St3R and was looking at getting the fly screen kit but didn't want to get the matching orange colour. Thinking of getting the black fly screen for the street triple 08 model, or may be the gray.

What do you think ? Bad choice ?

Should i stick with the matching colour ?

I'm thinking along the same lines for mine, don't want the orange one.

I'm thinking about getting the matt black screen for the SPEED triple, i've seen a few streets with the speed screen and it looks good.

Another option is the Puig screen, http://www.motorcycle-exhausts.co.uk...D=6047&image=0

IMO the black will be a bad choice, gloss & matt won't sit very well with each other. Matt graphite might be a better choice as it picks up the Triumph logo on the tank. Though I think if you didn't want to co-ordinate colours, then go for a different material like carbon.

I would go carbon or Orange.

Thanks for the advise.

I like the Puig options maybe the mat gray but its hard to know what it really looks like until it's on the bike.

Yeah grey looks bad. Black looks a little better . . . I still think Puig smoked plastic might look good, but at $AU 300 dollars it has to do better than might.

$300 AUD? Try here: http://www.motorcycle-exhausts.co.uk...ts_id=6047They take VAT (GST) off for orders overseas (15%). It works out about $230 shipped, a lot less than Triumph screens. I'm seriously thinking about one of these screens and will be ordering from here. Not sure when tho or we could share postage costs.

Funny thing is... My Triumph Fly screen (not molded visor) only costed me $127 USD. And that's after the dealer sent the item to me and charged me shipping!

Everything seems to work out a little more expensive in Australia, they charge extortionate shipping fees and it bumps the prices up. My dealer wants $330 AUD for the fly screen.
