Looks cool! I think it may be easier to use a standard trailer, but this does look like a nice, compact alternative.

That just looks scary. Do you think your insurance will cover both if you get in a wreck and total both of them?

i think i would trust it... but yeah i think its great because space it limited where i live (no room for a trailer) also i would not have to register this thing now if i wreck with the bike on.... im not sure what would happen i travel 11 months out of the year and never going to be able to finish the breakin if i dont take the bike with me lol

I've known a number of people that have and do use these. They work very well and are easy to load. Also it's much easier to deal with than dragging a trailer every where and you'll get better fuel mileage. Your individual vehicle insurance will cover the corresponding vehicle if you are in a wreck.

Keep in mind not to exceed your maximum tongue weight rating on your vehicle. I wouldn't use it on any vehicle that doesn't have a full frame. Also keep in mind that unless you have a full size truck or have air bags on your mid size the rear end of the vehicle is going to squat pretty good.

Absolutely. One caveat the 2005+ Tacomas come with two receivers one is a Class III and the other is a Class VI. The Class III is rated for 350lbs. The Class VI is 650lbs. If you have a V6 then I'm pretty sure they only installed the Class VI on those. You can look at the receiver and it should be stamped in it the weight rating. My 2005 (same body style as yours) TRD Offroad came with the Class Vi. It will carry the load but keep in mind the weight is way behind the rear axle so the truck is going to squat. The '05+ Tacomas come with fairly light springs in the rear and do not carry a lot of capacity. I had problems with mine that after I used it to haul a few heavy loads the springs would bottom out on hard bumps even without a load. I found out though that they had heavier rated springs and after a complaint they replaced my springs under warranty. Even with the springs I still use Ride-Rite air bags, which I purchased because of the bottoming problem. The newer Tacomas with the V6 are very capable I tow an 18' Toy Hauler with mine and last week I towed it with my Honda CR250 in the bed and my Street in the Trailer.

Thanks for the kudos however, I own a new body Tacoma so I have the owners and service manuals at my disposal not to mention the interest in keeping up on this stuff. I am a technician by training so it's in my nature to learn this stuff.
