lithium grease removal

The guy at the bike shop said to expect some grease slung off the chain of my new striple. So now its all over my wheel and the inside of the left silencer.
Does anyone know how to remove this without damaging the finish on either part?

The best thing to use to get it off the wheel is degreaser i use a citrus base product and it works amazing but the exhaust is another story because of the heat it is very difficult to get it off but if you spray the wheel down with a silicone clear coat it will make cleaning it later on less of a hassle

Just be careful of over spray with the clear coat; silicone is about the last thing you want on your tire.

WD40 on a rag worked just fine for me in cleaning the lithium grease off. It also cleans off other chain lubes just as well and is pretty safe on all the surfaces of the bike that get chain lube splatters.

After riding and the exhaust is hot, wipe it with a rag. thats the easiest way I found.

You need to find a new shop and never take your bike back there again.
