2010 Street Triple

Does anyone know when the 2010 Street Triple's will hit the showrooms? I have a 2007 Bonneville T100 (full Arrow exhaust) now and need something new. I have been looking at the 2010 Speed Triple 15th Anniversary, but the Street Triple R just seems to fit me better. At this point, it might make sense to wait for the 2010's. What is the ETA of the 2010 Street Triple and specifically any rumors as to content and colors?

Thankx,

I just took delivery of mine, so they are out there. Your dealer should be able to order one for you.

Were there any updates for the 2010 Striple?

How are you determining it's a 2010?

VIN, most likely.

I've read on a couple of forums about dealers running out of bikes and having to order 2010s. Other dealers can't seem to move them at all. My dealer seemed shocked that I wanted one (he sells mostly twins).

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

PokeyJoe's right, the VIN was used to determine that it was a 2010; the tenth character is an "A" vice the "9" that was on the '09 models. I also have the tag from the crate it was shipped in, and it says "2010 Street Triple R"

And there weren't any updates that were noticeable to me, but I am by no means an expert on the '07-'09 models.

According to another site, looks like a change to the clocks and redline. Interested to know if mcjonesy has the updated clocks?

Interestring... if this is an acurate portrayal of the 2010 gauge cluster, then Triumph was listening when everyone was complaining about the 3-buttons being a pain in the butt, requiring two hands to reset even the trip odometer. I'm not sure I like the orange coloring in the background, but to each there own. It certainly looks more user friendly than the current one.

Per mcjonesy's post, it is evidently not an accurate portrayal...or at least, not of the initial production run(s) of the 2010. That's the problem with info "borrowed" from elsewhere with no indication of where they got it from. You can't verify it readily, and there is no context.

I expect we'll have to wait for the annual dealers' conference for official word--and even that doesn't always come true in a timely manner, as long-time Hinckley Triumph enthusiasts can attest.
