Hey Everyone

Hey Everyone,

My name is Marcin and I'm from Melbourne. OZ. I don't have a Street Triple yet however I do have a Matt Grey R on order. Have to wait another 9 months before I get off my restricted licence. Only been riding bikes since last August.
Atm I'm riding a 2006 Eliminator but have been in love with the street triples since i got into bikes a few months back. Can't wait to get it, had a ride on my mates standard striple and loved it. Only 9 months to go.

Hello All from the Colorado Rockies. Basalt, just outside of Aspen. Been riding since Feb. when I purchased the bike in Denver. Yeah...some very cold mornings, but spring is coming on quickly. Can't wait for the high passes to open where all the real fun "twisties" are. I am absolutely in love with this bike. It already feels like an extension of my soul and body. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Down sizing

Hello,

I'm keeping my rice burners for touring and adventure touring so I don't need my touring Rocket III anymore.

So I'm downsizing my Triumph triple to an R....................

.............for a little fun.

"Hi!" from a new S3R owner.

Greetings,

Hi everyone! Seems like you have a nice forum here. I expect it will help as more questions come up about my new friend.

I'm the proud owner of a brand spankin' new Street Triple R in the gray finish. I've already done the basic mods (3->1 Arrow, no fender, bar ends, no reflectors), and am proud of the fact that I've built my own fender eliminator solution.

Here is a page outlining the mods I've done: http://www.parisgroup.net/STripper/triple.html

If anyone wants an occasional riding buddy in the San Francisco area, please feel free to get in touch with me. All of my current riding buddies ride cruisers, and riding with them is no fun at all .

Have fun and ride safe everyone!

STripper

Hi from Hong Kong

A quickie to say "Hello there" to one and all.

I purchased the Street Triple R in December of last year and have found it a joy to ride; though I must comment that it beginning to get a little hot under the seat?

Got some new tyres yesterday, due to a rather large bolt ending my Dunlop's life - bought BT-016's on shops and friends advice - roads here can be very twisty.

Will look for appropriate forum where I can post images.

Yum Boy (Cheers)

Hello Gentlemen..

I just picked up my Matt Orange Street triple R today. I haven't had a street bike in 20 years but got the itch about 2 years ago and finally got approval from the War committee a month ago.

A good buddy of mine who has rode for years just bought a new BMW K1300R and suggested the Street Triple as a good (re) starter bike.

When we went to the dealer they had a Gloss Black Street and a Matt Grey R on the floor. The salesman mentioned they just got another one in but it was just being uncrated and that it was Orange. So.. what the heck.. lets check it out..

WOW.. this thing was better then Enzyte.. SOLD before they got the front wheel on it.

I have to admit I'm a little nervous about shaking out all the old cob-webs and relearning how to drive in big city traffic but thats half the excitement of it..

Later!
