Newb from Canada...

Hello, and nice forum.

I'm from Southern Ontario, Canada, the London area.

I'm currently riding a Hyosung GT 250R. Nice bike and it was my first sport style bike after quite a few years off of two wheeled fun. But I'm starting to feel the urge to get a bigger ride, and originally I figured on a Daytona, but now I'm thinking Striple.

And now to do some searching before I post some quesitons.

Thumbs up Newbie from Jersey C.I

Hi all, great forum, thank you.

I live in Jersey, part of the channel islands that sit inbetween the UK and France, It's 9x5 miles so no long distances to ride lol.

I'm currently riding a Honda Varradero 125 and upgrading today to my Roullette green Street Triple, in fact in about half an hour, it's like Christmas.

Having to go through the malarky of doing the CBT then riding a 125 for a year is pretty painfull but I'm there now.

So thank you all for this great community and I look forward to spending some time with all of you here sharing experiences and ideas etc.

Other Motorcycle: 07 Thruxton - Sold
Another victim...

I currently have an '07 Thruxton with which I fell in love less than two years ago. While in for state inspection last week I took a Street Triple out for a demo. Whoops. Lots of fun, incredibly light, and remarkably comfortable. I forgot, since riding my last bike, that small bumps don't have to scare the heck out of you nor require a spinal realignment.

I still love the Thruxton, but I'm now obsessed with the Street. I have my bike on the local market and already have an eager buyer.

In the meantime, I am enjoying the move from the Twins Forum to the Street side. Hopefully I'll join you for good before too long.

Jay

Hep peeps!!! I'm currently on a Suzuki SV1000 but looking at trading it for a STR. Was originally looking at the 1050 speed but I've now decided to go for the 'nimble' 675 instead (seriously, who really needs to exceed 250km/h on a naked!!!)

BTW, I'm from Melbourne Australia. With every second corner harboring a speed camera it's a wonder that I've still got my licence (especially now that they impound your vehicle for doing more than 25km/h over!!)

Anyway, I recon I'll be going for the graphite R. Apparently you can wax the matt graphite finish to preserve it as long as you don't use a polish.

Don't plan on doing too much aftermarket stuff to it. Tossing up between the 3-1 arrow or a pair of slipons (like jardine etc.) Apparently someone has already scraped their 3-1 arrow on the track, so I'll probably be going slipons, BMC filter and Tuneboy remap.

Alright fellas, cheers. Cya round.

Daniel.

Greetings from Idaho

Sold my new Bonneville and was looking at the Ducati Hypermotard...but left with a 09' Street in Black.

Funny how those things work out.

Cheers to all.
