New street triple

I passed my test about three weeks ago so frighteningly new to this game. The bike is great and very easy to ride. Although the throttle is quite lively which has taken me by surprise a couple of times so many more miles under the belt to go before I'm totally comfortable. If there is anyone in the UK (or visiting) in a similar position let me know.
Cheers.

Hello dear riders!
Here is another Striple fan joining.
I've got my 2009 Street Triple as my first bike after testing almost every bike i was interested in. Fell in love with the styling and power delivery of the triple. Bought my used with 4650km on the graph and did another 5000km this season. Since Sweden is a bit north in Europe, our season is a bit short. My Streety has been standing since September, waiting for new tires and a service. And since I am a student still, I've got to pass my courses.
Parked in a safe, warm garage, my Streety is waiting for the spring. Service is booked and new tires are sought after.
23 years old and with one season in the saddle, here I am to the forum.
Cheers

Greetings from NorCal
New to the Street Triple, man what a hoot! I never really had a sporty bike other than that ZX11 about 15 years ago.....and that was long, kinda heavy, and a 4 jug instead of the 3 like on the Street. Otherwise, I've ridden mostly standard, UJM type bikes, and several different dual sports, (KLR650, DR650, WR250R, TE630) Previously had a 2000 Thunderbird Sport with StainTune full exhaust for a couple years which sang a sweet Aussie tune from that pipe, and was a sight to look at, but not particularly quick or practical as a commuter. Had to sell it because of a move, and I often wish I had it back.
My current bikes include an '05 R1200GS and a DRZ400S sorted nicely for off road and dual sportin'.

Names Dan. New to the the Triumph world. Saw a white Daytona Months ago Found myself in a Triumph dealer the next day. Sat on one and said "no way can i do another rocket, my hips locked up putting my leg up." Then out the corner of my eye I saw these odd headlights and said "what the hell is that!?!?!" The Street Triple R he said (was black so didnt stand out much to me). Chatted with the boys for awhile and they didnt have a White one so wasnt that excited. WHen home started doing some research found out about a new 13 coming up and said i could wait for that. Went back to the dealer to talk and found a used 12 with 5k miles out front IN WHITE. Got a chance to go for a ride and was hooked! Got back to dealer with the thoughts of taking that one since it has 2k of add ons. He told me the price 10,999 but could do 9,000 today. At that price i said i would wait for a 13. Now im just rambling just to excited.

Hey guys new member here. I've been a huge fan of the Street Triples for ages and I'm finally on the outlook for one. I sat on a 2012 Streety R at the International Motorcycle Show in Charlotte earlier this year and I fell in love.
I have so many questions, but rest assured I'll search the forums before I ask. Can't wait to join the club!

New 2013 Street Triple R
Hey all, new to the forum and the Triumph family. Been riding since I was 19, now 22. Started on a 99 Suzuki Bandit 600. Laid it down on a gnarly gravel-ey turn, replaced the head gasket to get her running and learned from my mistakes. Sold it last March. New job opened up new possibilities. My dealer just let me know the bike will arrive tomorrow . 2013 Triumph Street Triple R, Phantom Black, Flyscreen, Belly Pan, Heated Grips, Radial Short Levers, Tank Bag, Tail Bag/Rack, Tank Pad, and Arrow Slip-on Exhaust. Just waiting on the exhaust and the belly pan, then I'll throw some pictures up. Fear and Respect. So glad to be here, see you on the twisties
