Hey Guys, just bought a new 09 street triple last saturday. I live near College Station TX. The bike was purchased from The EuroShop in Waco (great dealership).

Hello Gentlemen..

I just picked up my Matt Orange Street triple R today. I haven't had a street bike in 20 years but got the itch about 2 years ago and finally got approval from the War committee a month ago.

A good buddy of mine who has rode for years just bought a new BMW K1300R and suggested the Street Triple as a good (re) starter bike.

When we went to the dealer they had a Gloss Black Street and a Matt Grey R on the floor. The salesman mentioned they just got another one in but it was just being uncrated and that it was Orange. So.. what the heck.. lets check it out..

WOW.. this thing was better then Enzyte.. SOLD before they got the front wheel on it.

I have to admit I'm a little nervous about shaking out all the old cob-webs and relearning how to drive in big city traffic but thats half the excitement of it..

Later!

Talking I've done it!!

I have taken the plunge, and traded in my Sprint ST for a new balck Street triple. I picked the bike up 2 days ago, and am still running her in, but I have had great fun so far. The bike turns into corners so wonderfully that it just makes me gigle the whole time.
What I love about the bike is that it reminds me of why I took up biking in the first place: to have FUN. This bike really is FUN. Its great, and I love it.

I have the day off on Wednesday and am planning a nice day of riding to the coast for chips, and then back again.

Cheers

Hi everyone

Just wanting to say hi to all you lucky street triple owners out there!

Waiting to pick my Street Triple R in a few days, can't wait!, probably one of the first Matt Orange ones in Australia, definitely was one of the first ones to hit Sydney. It's been tempting just settling for the grey one as I wouldn't have needed to wait so long, and wasn't so sure on the orange until I saw it in real life - it's an amazing colour, much better in real life.

catch up with you all on the forum.

Wow I would love to see the orange one in real life but I fell in love with the matt grey as soon I saw it. If the orange one was out with the grey one then I probably wouldn't of got the street triple at all because I wouldn't be able to decide on the colour

I am in Australia aswell so good to see another aussie here

You on Netrider Jimmyv? nickname sounds familiar. Think the orange is more 'love it or hate it', wouldn't of minded an R in the white though.

New

New from Bellingham, WA. I dont have my triumph yet and came to ask some questions about them. I grew up racing motocross and am about to buy my first street bike. Ive narrowed down to a couple bikes and the Street Triple is tops on the list. Unlike most kids my age (23) I perfer the more classic looking "Naked" bike opposed to the Japanese bikes.

Ill post questions in a different thread after I search around a bit. Just wanted to introduce myself.
