ebony or ivory?
green street triples are nice looking bikes, but i'm leaning equally towards a 2009 non-R and really can't decide between black and white. each black or white bike i look at i like ... a lot.
anybody purchased a black or white bike and are either really glad they picked that color, or kind of wished they had gone with the other. thanks for any help getting me off the fence.
all 3 colors are cool bikes. pretty close to putting down a deposit.

I've got the black even though I wanted the green. I had no choice really as I just wanted the bloody thing and I told all the bike shops that the first striple they could sell me instantly (without the ******** waiting period) I'd buy. A black one ended up coming in for some reason without an owner and I was all over it.
I'm happy with the black. It really has grown on me and I'm happy I didn't end up with white. I just think that the accessories I've chosen compliment the bike better. (Bar ends and gold pazzo's arrive soon).
Look through the "pics" thread and see the different things the blokes on here have done with there bikes. (Have a look at the bling rawn869 has thrown on his bike, best looking one so far for mine (p21)). That'll probably be the best guide for you.
Best of luck mate and don't hesitate to throw your money down it. Regardless of colour you'll love it.
(I still believe the red on my '02 sprint is fantastic and the best colour to date: It's one big sexy cruise liner)

I have the fushion white. I (at first) really wanted a black one. However, when I went in to the dealer (who only had ONE) in Jan '08, he only had a white one on hand. SOLD. I fell in love with it. IMHO the black is better looking in stock basic trim, where as I felt the white needed the belly pan and seat cowl to finish it off. In my parts, black bikes are a dime a dozen, so I'm glad I picked up the white one. Either way...this bike ROCKS and there is NO wrong color for it! Even better...this bike is a prime candidate for a color change. Only the tank, front fender and the 2 side panels are colored (minus accessories). Would be EASY to make this bike ANY color you want (which will come in handy a few yrs from now)! Waiting for a color (in my mind) is ridiculous, as you can easily make it any color you want.

I think I would have been happy with either, but I ordered fusion white because I was hoping the pearlescent finish would be as delightful as a (very different) bike I had previously owned. It has turned out to be everything I hoped for! Most photographs don't do it justice.

Stoked with the Fusion White. Mine is sans fly screen and belly pan, just the way I like it. Black Pazzo's, twin arrows and some carbon. Just beautiful.
Paint is lasting pretty well except for damage caused by a magnetic tank bag lesson learnt

Tough choice, but if I were to choose I'd probably go with the white, simply because it's less common than the black, and also the contrast with the black motor looks great.
Whichever color you pick you'll like...can't go wrong.

If I was easy with the colour, I could have got the bike some 4 months earlier than I did. But not regretting 1 second of the waiting period. Ive seen the black and white bikes parked side by side. IMHO it makes black look simply ordinary. Whites got the cool factor

I got the Green, the bike's a monster and the green fits it's image well.
As the others have said, no color is wrong, it's all good!

I have a black beauty and it is shiny and gorgeous and I am thrilled with it. I originally saw the bike in white and fell in love with it then, so I probably would have taken it in any colour when it arrived. My shop now also has a green one, which is stunning and original. Can't go wrong in any colour IMO, you'll love it .

I think black bikes are beautiful. My first bike was black and I loved it even though it showed every speck of dust and every tiny, tiny surface scratch. But alas, lovely black bikes are everywhere aren't they.
F/ my ST3 choice I had a bit of trouble deciding which I wanted as I really thought both black and white were fantastic in the daytime. (sorry, green's nice, but just not me) But before had I made my mind up, I walked out of a store one evening and started toward where my black Ninja was parked in the lighted lot and I certainly could see the chrome bits and such, but the bike was just some shiney nothingness blob. Right then I knew I wanted the fusion white. I knew that in any light the beauty of the bike's basic form - tank, flyscreen, bellypan, and rear panels - would stand out to me or anyone else that even glanced in her direction. And I was right - Die Vernon's naughty hautiness is evident regardless of the light level.
When I look at her in a darkened lonely parking lot, I know I made the right choice. When I see her sparkling in the rays of the morning, noon, or evening sun, I know I made the right choice. When I walk into the dealership and see a lovely black or green ST3 on the floor, I know I made the right choice.
And even though I truly gave it about zero weight in my decision making, it doesn't hurt knowing that the white adds just that much more to mine and Die Vernon's safety on our very frequent after dark or rainyday missions.
Now go buy a black or green one so only we select few can lay cliam to possessing the fusion white beauties!
Even now, I hear her calling to me from out in the garage to take her f/ a ride...and I can not resist...
