Price Drop

I noticed that L.A. Cyclesports has dropped their out-the-door price for a Street Triple R to $10,300 from $10,500. I imagine the price will continue to drop until it reaches a more reasonable range for a naked supersport.

$toŁ relationship might have some bearing on things. Ha, we have gone from rip off Britain to the beginnings of grey exports. Johnny foreigner (registered trademark of Clarkson) is starting to make enquiries at UK dealers because the pound is so weak that they get better deals !!

The "price" hasn't dropped at all. One dealer in one city is gouging $200 less than they were before. That does not yet make a trend.

if I go to the cheapest gas station in town and the gas is 20 cents cheaper than it was the day before, I consider that a price drop. If the cheapest dealer in the biggest market cuts $200 off the price of a bike, I consider that a price drop and a sign that the lack of demand is driving prices down. Could I be wrong? Sure. We'll just have to wait and see on that one.

If enough other dealers follow their lead, then you've got a point. I only said it doesn't prove a trend yet, after all.
