Hippo Hands - they work

See: <www.hippohands.com/HHMediumWMUws.htm>

I use electric glove liners and I fashioned some handguards from plastic milk jugs. This all worked fine in +45F weather,
but I needed something more for the sub-freezing morning commute. Now I don't need the electrics, but the guards
do help keep the Hands from pressing against the levers at speed.

I am sure they do work; however, I could not get past the way they look! LOL. I have a pair of Eastern Mountain Sports ski mittens - with liners of the same brand - that have proven the best I have found for warm hands, even in mid-twenty degree weather!

I would ignore the looks for the few months you would have to use them. They are easily taken off and put back on and keep your hands warm in sub zero temps without bulky gloves so you can still use all your controls as easily as you normally do.

It looks like you have a Sprint on a budget. I've never seen bags on a Street Triple and i'm not very fond of them. Are they made specifically for the Striple? As for the "Hippo Hands", i'm sure they work but I would'nt destroy the beauty of a Striple by having them on my bike, of course I don't ride in sub-zero weather. I would have gotten a Sprint with heated grips... to each his own. :

Heated grips alone will not work in sub zero weather. You can get heated grips for any bike for about $40. Hippo hands with heated grips are the best thing out there.

poor poor Striple. Yes everyone is laughing at you but don't worry I am sure your next owner wont dress you up like some trans-gendered tourer!

On the other hand the Striple is happily getting road miles rather than inches of dust from sitting.

I agree, if it means I can spend more time on it, I don't care what it looks like when I'm off it...
