As the guys in the states know, the brits are hooked on speed and sports bikes, me included. I came to my RS from an R6.

I test rode a Speedmaster on Sunday at Bridge Motorcycles in Exeter. Wow. It was really comfortable. Easy to ride slowly around town and still comfortable at 70-80Mph on the Dual carriageway. Massive road presence and you don't need to ride it fast to enjoy it, unlike my RS which I ride knee down everywhere! I felt like Arnie in The Terminator lol..

I have 2 speeding tickets from last year. This seems to make so much sense. This may by my first and only year on the RS, but not on a Triumph.

I am also pondering whether biking at lower speeds can be enjoyed.I find that to enjoy my Daytona it is necessary to ride it quickly, which is infrequently on our busy UK roads.Test rode a new Speed Triple and a Thruxton on Sunday.I really enjoyed the S3 and I knew I would as I have owned the previous model. The torque, power, handling and presence were totally thrilling. The Thruxton is fun in it's own way.The bike had loud exhausts and sounded authentically retro. It went well enough and I can see that this bike can be enjoyed at more reasonable speeds and it handles ok.
Having said all that I will almost certainly opt for the S3 as it was just so exhilirating, and it was comfy.
