just got off the DYNO

well, it is warm here today 85 degrees. The sprint still pulled 112.41HP and 70.47 ft/lbs of Torque. the impressive thing I found is the horsepower is almost a straight line from bottom left to top right of the page from 1700 rpm to redline. no real dips or peaks. so i dont think i will do any powercommander or tune boy purchases anytime soon. I think i will spend the money on suspension bits, and maybe a new chain and sprockets. maybe down 1 in the front and up two on the rear, then unleash hell at deal's gap . going to have to do something for the front forks soon though, i'm tired of the pogo sticks I got right now. new valves, springs, and oil for the front this off season. So I will be doing some searching to keep OND off my arse LOL. oh yeah, it is an 06 1050abs with almost 13,000 miles on the odo. I still have to get the 12,000 mile service done too. thats why i wanted a baseline before the 12k service. later all

Sounds like a good dyno run. Mine was 113hp when it was new and 118 with the TOR and IXILs on it. 74lbs of torque both times. Such great bikes.

New Springs and valves sound like a good upgrade to me. My Bonnie is getting them in the spring.
