Shine it up

I recently purchased a 2000 Sprint ST. I am cleaning her up and I was wondering what you guys use to get a nice shine on the fairings. Do you use an automotive wax? or something different?

Shine it up

I found this Turtle Wax ICE paste wax. After applying it several times over the last 2 years I have thrown away everything else in my garage to clean Bikes, cars, my truck, and enclosed trailer. After I wax it, I can just wipe the bugs off with a clean towel for a while (and I like that). Plus the fact if you accidentally touch anything black, it wipes right off without leaving the white pasty residue. I actually do my mirror boots and mirrors with it and the bugs don't stick at all.

You do need however to use micro-fibre towels to take it off. Comes of pretty easily. Been washing all of the above for 37 years now, and this is the best product I have ever used.
(IMHO)

I use Meguiar's Cleaner Wax.

Same results as OS03.

I second the turtle wax ICE if your paint is clean, smooth and
doesn't need a cleaner wax. I put the ICE on mine almost every
week. So easy to use.

For quick fixes, Honda Polish is where it's at.

anything that is pure Carnuba Wax. Everything else doesnt really offer any protection.

I use Eagle 1 Pure Carnuba.

I use Zymol wax on my bike since years ago I worked for the company and have some of it leftover from those days. I wash the bike then...use HD cleanse to clean the paint then wax for a super job..I will do it in the spring and winter and follow up with plexus through the year.
