Hand guards?
Do the Tiger handguards fit the 1050 Sprints? Or are any made that will fit? I'd like some just for winter use.

For your bike, I think the older Tiger hand guards do fit. I did a search and read some posts on that, but nothing for the 1050 Sprints.

You would want to make sure they clear the tank and fairing at full steering lock. If MotoGP adopts some type of lever guard you will likely see a trickle down into production sport bikes; thus you would be quite ahead of your time .

Good point! With the bar risers on my '08, the bars come to about 1/4 inch of hitting the windshield.

The way I look at it, the hand guards would smooth out the airflow going over my hands, thus making me a Rossi beater on my Sprint! : Well, at least in the cold I'd last longer!

Anyone know if the Tigger guards fit an 03 RS?
It gets an bit chilly up here on Tyneside during the winter.
Unlike a lot of British bikers, I ride to work all winter.
Cheers,

Could not find the hand guard kit for the 955 tiger online.
A9708108 - Hand Guard Kit - is listed for the 1050.
I did find this post:
http://www.triumphrat.net/tiger-mods...s-on-955i.html
They heated grips are great for the palms, but they do nothing for the knuckles.

I found the answer!
I stopped by the dealer and they had a set of Tiger hand guards in stock. I took one out and put it up to the bar of a stock '08 Sprint that was on the showroom floor. Without cutting a very larger relief into the hand guard it won't work very well. The windshield fairing hits the guard well before full lock.
Oh well, at least now I know!
