Bigger touring screen...
Check on the MRA screens that Don Olson so loves, seems to be a better quality than the OEM touring screen, available in 3 sizes and tinted too.
Also, a much less cheaper alternative, check out the extensions from laminar lip. url..www.laminarlip.com
They have a fitment for the ST and an newer larger Touring model. Supposed to increase protection and reduce wind noise/buffeting better than the OEM touring screen...and a ton less money!!
About the Scott oiler. I considered it myself, but most to the folks with one seem to have mixed feelings. It either dispenses too much or too little and most have removed it.
But, I don't see how it could affect the warranty on a chain. They are not all that expensive and I'd almost say that's a use/abouse item with limited warranty coverage anyway.
And the rear hugger is a great idea. I keeps all the yuck off the rear suspension. I rode mine for 3 weeks before installing mine and learned it makes a HUGE difference. Definitely a wise idea. Triumph has one, and so does Sky King and Jack Lilly, both the last two are pretty pricey carbon units. I'm not convined the 1-2ounce weight savings or bragging rights are worth the extra $100.
Hope this helps a bit

I love my Scottoiler. I had it fitted from new by my dealer (Carl Rosner) and have absolutely no intention of removing it. You need to spend some time getting the oil flow right but then its the nearest thing to maintenance free a chain can get.
I've stuck with the stock screen but have considered a double bubble. Jack Lilley do one.
I've got the Triumph hugger. Its a bit short. Now I would go for the NWS one. A bit longer and has a flap which extends below the swinging arm which protects the lower shock linkage. See N-W-S.com. I think that if you you want it colour coded you'd prolly have to get it sprayed yourself.
I've got no experience of two up touring but can't see why tyres would be any different from one up. I like BT020s though some don't. Prolly going to try Pilot Roads next.

RasKrish - if you're interested in the Triumph touring screen there's one on eBay UK right now. Personally I think it spoils the look of the bike - but then aesthetics are more than averagely important to me.

I'm interested in the Rear Huggars for my '01 Sprint ST. It appears that we have a few choices:
Skyking $300 +
Triumph $125
NWS $135 (based on 75 GBP converted to US dollars)
I'm sure I've missed a few. I like what I've heard about the NWS one, but am curious if anyone has shipped one to the states. Depending on shipping costs, it also appears to be the best value for the dollar (I don't need CF or a painted hugger, I would be quite happy with a a plain black one).
Does anyone else have any hugger pointers, comments or suggestions?
BTW I just broke 100 miles on my Sprint. I can finally get the chance to see how nice this scoot pulls. So far it is exceeding my expecations. Now if the weather will only get back above freezing.....
Thanks!
Tom

From what I hear, NWS's service is pretty good when it comes to shipping to the US. Don't know about cost though but it'll only take an Email to find out.

I bought an excellent NWS hugger from Dynamo Humm in Quebec - they ship anywhere in NA. Price was excellent, and the product is very good. It replaces the stock chainguard on my RS.
