New sprint on the way... rest of life falls apart, W-T-F?

So I pick up my new to me Sprint ST ABS this Friday ( tomorrow ), but the rest of my life is going downhill.

My girlfriend ( and best friend ) and I are on a hiatus for 3 months ( her decision ) and on top of that I had three cavities drilled today ( when I thought I was taking excellent care of my teeth ), AND I have to have a f#$king Colonoscopy next Tuesday!!!

The only thing good in my life is my job and my, soon, new Sprint. I could care less about riding right now if only I had the love of my life back in my arms

Tough times... my heart hurts.

Sorry to hear the bad news bud. The thing I've learned in my short years on this earth is that when you think life couldn't get much worse, someway somehow something happens that lets you know everything is gonna be absolutely fine. You still have a job and a beautiful new Sprint ST.

+1 And always remember that there are people worse off than you! Enjoy the new Sprint!

Talking It will get better

A Colonoscopy will help you forget about the girl, it worked for me, but the Sprint is FOREVER!

i cant be the only one thinking it, new bike = new girlfriend . take the new shiny bike out on the town. Im sure there is some woman who wants a ride on a brand new sprint. i went from a 39 year old g/f while i had the warrior/cruiser, to a 29 year old "hottie" with no kids; once I got the sprint. things will get better. since you are down (while she is kicking you) take this time to hit the gym, and make her beg for you in 3 months. LOL I know,,,, I am cynical

It sounds like your nads were still in her purse when she left. It's harsh but that's how life goes.

She wants a break...well let her have it. I wouldn't be too quick to take her back unless she appreciates you and the relationship rather than wanting to get back together 'cause she's lonely.

I guess it's no wonder I'm single.

Good luck with the cavities and colon work. Nothing like getting drilled from both ends.

Hey, on the bright side you're getting a new bike and still have a job. There are lots of people in serious financial trouble and plenty more on the way.

Cheers! :

+1 A wise friend of mine likes to say "You have a motorcycle?" whenever I start to complain.

Kory,
You are a young guy. Really a 3 month haitus? Who does that? I think the universe is telling you something.

You have a good job and a new bike which is therapy. Riding calms the beast within. As hard as it may be I would let the girlfriend go. If someone loves you they stick together to get through things, not take off on a 3 month break......

Move on brother, use the bike as your therapy and heal.

Life does suck sometime. I'm young for all the major health issues I've had but I've learned to take joy in the little things, like your new Sprint, a nice ride early on Sunday morning or a good drink and cigar with my buddy. Don't sweat the other things, there's nothing
you can do about it anyway. Just say Fu@@ it and drive on !
