Fuel Line Clamp Removal

Good day TriumphRat. I recently found I had a fuel leak due to the plastic coupling breaking (old story, I know). So I got the part and went to put it on last night but I can't figure out how to remove the clamp holding the old coupling on. Any insights or links to how-to's?

The clamp should have a little notch in it that you can put a small screwdriver in to lever the clamp open. If you do it carefully you should be able to reuse it just by closing it up again with a pair of pliers.

Thanks for the advice. That's what I thought should happen but it didn't want to budge last night. I will give it another go tonight. This is my first bike and my first attempt at motorcycle repair so wish me luck.
